Trip Insurance revisited
After yesterday’s cancellation of flights for inspections, I’d be seriously considering trip insurance again. Local news interviewed a guy on his way to Atlanta for the Masters. Insurance won’t get you back your lost memories, but you may be covered for the incredibly high-priced, non-refundable hotel room you paid in advance for.
The issue is whether the insurance would cover cancellations for FAA-mandated inspections. More and more things are cropping up that I’d never thought of when reviewing trip insurance on our Adventure Kits page.
