More on "Clear" Travel
Earlier, I posted about a WSJ column on Clear. Here’s a photo of the card, held by an actual user:

From this flickr photo page. Bruce Schneier’s comments are here. Executive summary: it works great to get people through security, but it lets terrorists find out if they’re on the list by rejecting them for the card, and it won’t find terrorists with no record (Timothy McVeigh is one example).
Let me be clear that Clear card holders are not scrutinized less as they go through security. Cardholders just get to use an express lane and get additional help putting all their gear on the table for X-ray and then putting it all back together.
