Cyber Base in Martinique
Martinique has Cyber Base stores in many of the larger towns in Martinque, and Diamant has one right on the water. The hours are supposed to be form 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, but we found it closed on several occasions - for maintenance and for classes for children to learn how to use computers and the internet.
The price was quite reasonable even with deflated dollars: one hour for two euros, 20 hours for 15 euros. We were issued a user name and password on a slip of paper, which was good for as long as we were there, and we could add to our hour anytime we wanted. Speed was excellent, and so was the help.
We could not use our own computer there, though - only the Windows PCs in the room. There were several restaurants that advertised WiFi, but we never tried them. We did see others with their laptops on the tables, though, so we assume the access was there. (And we saw Macs and PCs in use.)
We used Cyber Base last year, and we are impressed with every place we tried it.
